Well paying jobs in Kenya
[autoad]In order to get yourself into a well paying job, it is a requirement that you enroll into a marketable course which will guarantee you a better pay and excellent career experiences. I conducted my research concerning the most marketable courses which bring some handsome money into pockets later.
- Bachelor of medicine and surgery
The fact that this course has high requirements in order to enroll and also very demanding makes it to be very marketable. It will never be rendered obsolete as long people keep on getting sick. The advantage is that even when you are jobless, you can start a clinic which will fatten your pocket. Currently, the average monthly salary of a medical doctor in Kenya is ksh. 180,000 ,which makes it the reason why it is a dream career to many students.
- Bachelor of law
If you have a convincing tongue and you equally win cases, you will make some handsome money from clients. Law is one of the most marketable courses in Kenya and it’s no doubt among few professions where you can count millions in your earnings.
Some of the well known lawyers in Kenya like Paul Muite, Orengo make over 10 million each in a single month. Then why not enroll in this course and also be counted as a millionaire? All you are required to do is to pursue law degree in Kenya at an accredited university and a diploma from the school of law. Afterwards you become an advocate of the high court and eventually start practicing.
This is another career which will land you into a well paying job. A pharmacist will get work at KEMSA, Ministry of health or any accredited health facility. The beauty of this career is that when you are jobless, you can start up a pharmacy business which is not crowded (only those who are trained in it can start it up). I must confess that I have pharmacists who make up to 3milion per month from pharmacy, that a good deal. Right?
- Bachelor of commerce
If you have a B plus and above in your KCSE, this is a course that I can encourage you to pursue. With an addition of CPA or CFA you will get yourself a very good job.
Architects in Kenya are few and hence their unemployment rate is low. If you want to get a well paying job after your course enroll into this course in either in JKUAT or University of Nairobi. You will become a consultant where you will earn millions of tenders. [autoad]
- Bachelor of procurement and purchasing
The beauty of this course is that no matter how many years you are jobless, when you land a job, everything in your life will change. Procurement officers oversee tendering processes, they are the pillars. These guys determine who gets and who doesn’t making them influential in their respective organizations. While pursuing this course ensure you also pursue the professional papers like CPSP (K) OR CIPS.
The salary for a pilot in Kenya is 400000 to ksh. 2million.if you had grade A in your KCSE, pursue the course and your life will change completely.
- Computer science \ information technology
Advancements in the job market have revolutionized the job market. Currently, all the job markets are trying to keep up with the current trends in technology. Every big organization has IT department which supports all other functions. The beauty of studying IT or computer science is that you can hone your skills to be self employed.
- Software engineering\web design
Social media is rapidly growing and becoming a source of income for many Kenyans. Many companies are employing software engineers or web designers to help keep them on par with the forever dynamic digital world like creation of websites.
- Real estate
This being one the new courses in Kenya, it will land into a good job where you will even be consultant and win a lot of tenders. As they say “nothing good comes easy” you must be able and willing to work very hard in order to secure a job in one of those fields.[autoad]
